有些人是不允许登陆加拿大的，这些人被称为“inadmissible”。
不允许登陆加拿大的原因有很多，例如：
1. you are a security risk 有安全风险
2. you have committed human or international rights violations 侵犯人权或者国际人权
3. you have been convicted of a crime, or you have committed an act outside Canada that would be a crime 犯罪
4. you have ties to organized crime 与犯罪组织有关系
5. you have a serious health problem 严重的健康问题
6. you have a serious financial problem 财政问题
7. you lied in your application or in an interview 递交虚假材料
8. you do not meet the conditions in Canada’s immigration law 不满足加拿大法律法规
9. one of your family members is not allowed into Canada 家庭成员不允许登陆加拿大
通常情况，有以上其一的都不允许登陆加拿大。如果申请人有某种特殊情况并且持有有效的解释申请登陆加拿大，移民局将批复你一个临时签证。
如果申请人由于醉酒或吸毒驾驶被定罪将被认为是不允许登陆加拿大的。但是2012年3月1日起，申请人可以申请一次临时签证（无需200加币的申请费）。
