北京时间2017年7月28日凌晨，加拿大当地时间7月27日下午4点多，萨省移民局开放了萨省技术移民EE类别600个名额。同时萨省职业清单由5月16日的17个职业增加到43个职业，其中部分职业需要在萨省注册。
萨省无需雇主的技术移民分为EE类别和Occupation In-Demand类别：其中EE类别需要同时满足EE门槛（雅思4个6和六大要素67分）和萨省门槛（即萨省60分）；Occupation In-Demand只需满足萨省门槛（即萨省60分），达到CLB 4的语言成绩（雅思听力4.5，阅读3.5，写作4，口语4）即可。
